Abstract

In this study, the influence of supporting leadership and Knowledge sharing on academic performance has been analysed through investigating four main dimensions which include leadership support, reward system, knowledge sharing, and lecturer performance. To achieve this, a quantitative research method was implemented. The data used in this study consists of information gathered through questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed purposively in both private and public sectors including both schools and universities. Cronbach’s alpha was used in order to assess the reliability. For this study, 102 data was collected. For the purpose of analysing the data, SPSS was used. Regression analysis was used to test the relationships between the variables. The results revealed that leadership support has strongly affecting lecture performance. Also, knowledge sharing has positively affected on lecture performance. On the other hand, reward system has not affected lecture performance meaningfully. The findings recommend that enhancing leadership and encouraging knowledge sharing would help the academic performance within organization.
