Abstract

Green innovation has emerged as a pivotal strategy for enhancing the competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) globally. In Lagos State, Nigeria, SMEs are increasingly recognizing the importance of integrating environmentally sustainable practices to bolster their market position and ensure long-term viability. This paper examines the impact of green innovation on the competitiveness of SMEs in Lagos State, focusing on aspects such as green entrepreneurial initiatives, green finance, and sustainable entrepreneurship. The study synthesizes findings from recent research to provide a comprehensive understanding of how green innovation influences SME competitiveness in this region.​
